Maison Ispagne

Stone walls, beams, door frames, fireplace and Italian tiles, second-hand furniture and children’s toys, so many materials and subtle details that Emmanuel Cazals has mixed to bring back to life this calm and typical house of the Île de Ré, located in the heart of the village of Ars-en-Ré. Emmanuel has preserved details that bear witness to the age of this house, such as a wooden workshop window, which he restored and which today allows the separation in one of the bedrooms, between the sleeping area and the bathroom. Part of the Les Maisons Fabel collection, it is the worthy little sister of its elder, the Espanel house.
