Emmanuel Cazals likes to give his houses names that tell a fragment of his story. De Byans was the name of his great-grandmother Aménaïde. For this first villa, located in the heart of Deauville, not far from the Casino and the beach, the owner created a swimming pool entirely covered in mosaics, complemented by a fresco, the work of a mosaic artist with whom he enjoys collaborating. It’s a house with a thousand decorative subtleties that well represent Emmanuel’s meticulous and refined choices: harmonious colors, second-hand furniture, overmantels, witch mirrors, wood paneled headboards, cement tiles whose design is inspired by beach huts, and colorful wallpapers.
