This typical Art Deco house was built from the 1922 plans of architect Charles Siclis, at the request of a woman born on the island of Trinidad. It symbolizes the elegance of the seaside town. Emmanuel Cazals restored the roof terrace, identical to the original plans, which offers a 360° view of the Atlantic, the city and the Pyrenees. He kept and renovated a fresco of “Bathers” which adorns the living room, as well as a stained-glass window illustrating the game of Basque pelota, by Jean Lesquibe, in the stairwell. For the decoration, Emmanuel combines black and white, personalized geometric cement tiles with figurative wallpapers, as well as the interior generously opening onto the exterior and its garden.
